Shakshuka is my favorite breakfast! It is one of Israel’s most popular dishes and was inspired and brought over from North Africa. There are so many ways to make shakshuka, with all different kinds of fresh herbs, greens, cheeses…But here is my version of shakshuka and feel free to add feta, goat cheese or fresh mozzarella to the recipe when you add the eggs.
Feel free to substitute ingredients within the sandwich, but this is really the greatest method of sandwich making. You will never be able to order a sandwich from a restaurant again!
Sliders are an American way of saying mini burgers. You can double these and make them regular sized burgers, they are just so much cuter this way! If you want to serve these with bread, I love using mini whole wheat pitas, but you can use whatever you wish. In the last minute or two of the burgers grilling, throw the bread on the grill too!
This recipe is so good because the salmon stays soft and buttery inside for days! Make extra salmon and you can pull it apart for a pasta dish, slice it thin for a sandwich or a salad. Just be sure not to reheat it just bring it to room temperature!
