Persimmon is probably one of the sweetest most delicious fruit if it is ripe and fresh! If you can’t find it in your supermarket, feel free to substitute it with mangoes, peaches, oranges or grapefruits.
This is a great dish because it really is 10 minutes of prep and why spend all the time making individual calzones when you can make one large one!! Make an extra dough and put it in a sealed bag in your freezer for another calzone or pizza.
Shakshuka is my favorite breakfast! It is one of Israel’s most popular dishes and was inspired and brought over from North Africa. There are so many ways to make shakshuka, with all different kinds of fresh herbs, greens, cheeses…But here is my version of shakshuka and feel free to add feta, goat cheese or fresh mozzarella to the recipe when you add the eggs.
