I love crostinis, finger food, appetizer party food. But it is so rare to be served such a thing! I created a dinner based on this! There are a lot of steps but I promise the prep shouldn’t take longer then ten minutes and the cooking time is another 15 minutes tops. (Prepare all the ingredients in advance so you can do one thing after the other!)
Halloumi cheese salad can be found in most cafes in Israel. It is delicious but often the same. Here is a twist on the usual restaurant salad that can be pulled together in minutes! Tuscany spice blend can be found in all spice shops and sometimes in the supermarket. If you don’t live in Israel but come to visit be sure to pick it up at any spice shop or market, it is world’s better than the other versions and not too heavy to bring back!
This is a great vegetarian and vegan dish but it would taste great with tofu, chicken or beef. Always sear the protein first, then remove it add the rest as instructed and put the protein back in last minute.
